It’s funny how a single song can find ways of manifesting itself in three different ways, across three different decades.
I’ve recently been getting into chillwave and retro R&B and came across this song by How to Dress Well, entitled “Ready for The World” which dropped earlier this year.
I really was digging it, but for some reason I kept thinking to myself that I heard a specific sound used in this song before… Until I noticed that it samples pretty heavily from this classic 90’s R&B cut from INOJ.

I just thought it was incredibly cool how one song could continue to evolve and find relevance in different forms. Anyone else ever stumble upon stuff like this?
